| The RedR Registers |
The Members of RedR's
Registers form a unique body of highly motivated and competent individuals
who can be called upon at very short notice to strengthen the response of
front-line humanitarian agencies.
Members of RedR's registers are carefully interviewed and selected for their
personal and professional qualities and references taken. While engineering
and related technical skills lie at the heart of RedR, the range of competencies
represented on the registers continues to grow. The ability to work effectively
in a team without taking unnecessary risks under stressful and often dangerous
conditions is considered to be of utmost importance.
RedR seeks to find the
best match between the requirements of any assignment and the profile of available
members. RedR's membership includes those with many years experience in disaster
work as well as those just starting in the sector. Programme managers/co-ordinators
and highly specialised technical experts as well as those with practical hands-on
skills are all represented on the registers and a growing number of members
have experience in assessing needs and establishing programmes in the critical
first few weeks of an emergency.
If you would like to join the RedR Register, or you are an agency interested
in using the Register to find appropriate personnel.
To join or use the RedR
register, please contact your local office
| The RedR Recruitment Database |
The Recruitment Database differs from the Register in that the service can be tailored to the requirements of the requesting agency. The database holds the curricula vitae of personnel but they may not have been interviewed nor references taken. This could be done, if requested, by RedR or the agency may chose to do it themselves
